Once again I lucked out in meeting some interesting people in my travels. I happened to be rooming with Raphaëlle and Julien, two Canadiens on holiday, and hit it off with them after some free shots at the hostel bar.
We ended up hanging out the following day and walked around Berlin. We saw the East Side Gallery, of course that was only when not getting photobombed by selfie-sticking Japanese tourists and droves of teenagers. But at least there was some paint still wet so we could make our mark on the Wall… Thanks Jenny whoever you are!
We also went to Checkpoint Charlie, the DDR Museum, and got thoroughly freaked out by the Gehorsam (Obedience) exhibit at the Jewish Museum. We closed out the evening with a shisha on a nice sunny lawn across from the Berliner Dom and a trip to Burgermeister for the best & sloppiest burger in Berlin.
Today I walked over to Brandenburger Tor, Nikolaikirche, Neptunbrunnen, and checked out Platoon Kunsthalle. It also happens to be Berlin Beer Week and I stumbled upon a cool little pop-up biergarten on my walk back to my hostel and had some great craft beers.

I think you and Uncle should travel the world documenting in photos and text the out of the way places for a new and different travel magazine. You are both amazing photographers and writers.
