On the Road Again

Ireland, you’ve been grand.

I have bisected the country going from Dublin to Connemara on my journey.  With stops in the lovely Swords and beautiful village of Letterfrack, I’ve done everything from the Guiness Storehouse, the Old Jameson Distillery, scuba dived in the Killary Bay, lost my underwater camera on the Julia T wreck, and generally walked all around Dublin.

And as I write this post I realize that there are no breathe taking photos, there are no nature hike images.  It is simply because, for first time in my travels, I really put the camera down and immensely enjoyed the great company I was with.  I really slowed things down since Thailand and it was nice to have like-minded company.  Even with the hurried times and feeling like the clock was against me over these past few days, I wouldn’t change a thing.

As a solo traveler, you are only as happy as the company you keep during the short times you are in a place… And I can honestly say I picked the right company for this part of my adventure as it slowly comes to a close.  One more week and it is truly back to reality.

  1. Josh, I am very happy for you that you were able to travel around the world and see the other side. As you stated you have seen some great amazing things and also have seen some bad things, but the best part of it all , you are enjoying life. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. When I read your blogs and look at your photos I feel like I’m reading a book and I don’t want to put it down, because it’s exciting to read. Enjoy the rest of your time and make the most of it. I love you and be safe.
