I am finally not hopping from place to place and have been able to enjoy myself for the last week.
I was in Frankfurt for a few days, catching up with my travel buddy and wandering around her city. It was nice being able to relax with friends and not have to be rushing around making sure I made the next train for the next place. I even had time to hang out at the Naturmuseum Senckenberg, the second largest natural history museum in Germany.
I have spent the last 3 days over in Co. Galway, in the small village town of Letterfrack. I was here back in August and really enjoyed the area and the fact that just about everyone knows everyone and are very kind and welcoming. I did a couple dives with Scubadive West, and they even managed to find the camera I lost diving with them in the summer. That was fortunate because we got up close with a monkfish on the dive. I was supposed to head off to Dublin yesterday, but the weather was so perfect that I went on a hike instead and it was the right call. The vistas from the top of Diamond Hill were beautiful.
Now I have a 5 hour bus ride back to Dublin to see my friends for the last time before I head home Thursday. But all good things must come to an end eventually and this has been an excellent little adventure of seeing some new places and catching up with friends.

Josh I loved the post and the pictures. The underwater shots of that nasty monk fish were great. Glad your underwater camera resurfaced. Looking forward to your next adventure.

Are there fjords around Letterfrack? Almost looks like Norway from the top of Diamond Hill. I’m surprised at how green Ireland is at this time of year. Must be the Gulf Stream. It’s always nice to find something you lost. There’s still hope for your orange sweater. Nice shot of the love locks!

Lovely countryside. Kind of looks like Tennessee except without trees. The buildings are enchanting. I love the architecture and the storybook feel. Enjoy the remainder of your trip.
