Where to start… The last two weeks have been an utter whirlwind of amazing and laughable experiences.

I started my trip with being left at the airport when the taxi I booked never arrived. After a quick call to my hostel at 4 AM local time asking where the hell my taxi was they said they’d send one over asap. With that sorted I was en route to my hostel and finally in bed by 5 AM after nearly 24 hours of travel. I spent my first, and only day it would turn out, in Tel Aviv taking a stroll through the graffiti-riddled streets of Florentine and a walking tour of Old Jaffa. Old Jaffa was a conquerer’s favorite prize each time they came to sack the area. It was a pretty cool experience walking in the steps of invaders such as Napoleon.

  1. Looks like you got a lot of your one day inTel Aviv. At least you saw the clock tower in Old Jaffa. Amazing to think of everyone from Jonah to Napoleon who walked those streets.

  2. Love the Volkswagen bus. We had 2 of them years ago. Looks like you got quite a bit done in one sleepy day
